Sunekos®

If you’re not a fan of Botox®, or if you want a perfectly natural, youthful look, you really must try Sunekos® – a very different type of injectable treatment.
Unlike other injectables you might have heard about or tried, Sunekos® is specifically designed to renew your skin cells, so not only does it dramatically reduce signs of ageing, but the results look completely natural, and your skin is left looking smooth, hydrated, and glowing.

The treatment is extremely versatile, and can help with wrinkles and fine lines, loss of skin tone, acne scarring, sun damage, and baggy eyes. It can be used on your face, neck, hands, arms, inner thighs, and knees. If you’d like to know more, please book a Free Consultation with our specialist doctor who will talk you through what is involved.

Winner of the Safety in Beauty Innovation and Pioneering award 2019, SuneKos is a non-surgical treatment comprising of a unique combination of hyaluronic acid and amino acids which triggers a skin regeneration process called dermal biogenesis.

Whilst deeply hydrating and plumping the skin, clinical trials have shown that the Hyaluronic Acid (HA) can activate bio-revitalisation from within your skin which results in plumper, smoother, firmer, more youthful-looking skin. Sunekos combines this HA with a special combination of amino acids which directly stimulates the Extra Cellular Matrix (ECM) fibroblasts which in turn rebuilds the living layer of your skin, called the dermis.

There are two types of Sunekos; Sunekos 200 and Sunekos 1200. Sunekos 200 is used to treat around the eyes, face, neck, chest and hands and is perfect for earlier signs of ageing. Sunekos 1200 is used in conjunction with Sunekos 200 if your skin needs extra structural support to improve sagging skin or if you have deeper, more advanced wrinkles. Your specific requirements will be assessed and discussed with you prior to the treatment.

This is a four-part treatment; each session is had 7 to 10 days apart. Each of the four sessions is an important part of the treatment process and your entire treatment will not be complete until the session is completed.

Indications that this treatment may be right for you:
You are noticing lines and wrinkles.

You have skin that is lacking in elasticity.
Your skin is thin and lacks volume and plumpness.
You have dehydrated, sun damaged skin.
You would like to prevent early signs of skin ageing.
Frequently asked questions:
At what age should I star Sunekos treatments?
There is no specific age at which you should start Sunekos® treatments – All people age differently and feel differently about how they look. In general, we find that people start the treatments for the following reasons:
20s – To prevent wrinkles and fine lines from occurring.
30s – To prolong the youthful look as wrinkles and fine lines start to appear.
40s – To tackle wrinkles and fine lines before they are deeply imprinted.
50+ – To improve the appearance of deeper wrinkles and fine lines.

What happens during Sunekos treatment?
Before your treatment begins, our specialist doctor will discuss your aims and objectives, explain the various therapeutic options, and will determine if you are a suitable candidate.

If Sunekos® injections are right for you, your aesthetic nurse will begin by cleansing your face and marking out the treatment areas. A numbing cream is then applied for approximately 15 minutes before the procedure begins.
During the procedure, a fine needle and a cannula are used to deliver the chosen solution directly into the target areas, avoiding facial veins to prevent bruising.

Depending on which areas are being treated, the session can last between 30-60 minutes. The treatment is done on a walk-in walk-out basis with no time required for recovery.

Are there any aftercare instructions I must follow?
In the first 24 hours post-procedure, please try to adhere to the following guidelines:
- Clean your face with a gentle cleanser and warm water.
- Try not to wear makeup.
- Use creams with antioxidants and hyaluronic acid to reduce irritation and hydrate the skin.
- Avoid active skincare products which contain: Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Beta Hydroxy Acids, Retinol (Vitamin A), and Vitamin C (in low pH formula). Continue to do so for 3 days post treatment.
